I am wondering if anyone has this problem or if
it’s just my jiggy personality. At least once a day,
usually in the late afternoon, I get a MAJOR panic attack
that I am not going to be able to stop a food binge
from happening. It comes on rather sudden and for
about five minutes my mind starts going cuckoo like,
“oh-my-gosh-I-can-feel-a-food-binge-coming-on-and-I’m-really-gonna-blow-it-big-t
ime,” etc… It’s an overwhelming feeling of doom and I
have to talk myself through it, by saying, “OK, Nell,
this happens everyday and you always get through it.”
After about five minutes it subsides and I emerge
victorious and abstinently intact. Has anyone else
experienced this either on or off of Meridia or am I just
bonkers?
Daily panic attacks…

I’m wondering since the panic attacks occur in
the afternoon, whether that was a time of day that
you binged in the past or if there is something else
that is triggering them? The feeling that you are
going to binge could be triggered by the time of day.
Knowing that, you may be able it retrain your brain. If
it’s something else, perhaps you could avoid the
activity. For me, I start to eat when watching TV, so I
pretty much avoid watching.
I don’t think your
bonkers.
